- DAY 1 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.[Overnight Kathmandu]
- DAY 2 Kathmandu Sight Seeing: Swayambhu, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath and Pasupatinath [Overnight Kathmandu]
- Pashupatinath: Pasupatinath Temple, renowned for its Newari architecture, is located near the sacred Bagmati River. Access is restricted to Hindus only. Pashupati, the patron deity of Nepal, is believed to have been discovered by a herdsman. Legends suggest Lord Shiva lived in an antelope form to evade demigods.
- Boudhanth: Boudhanath Stupa, Nepal’s largest monument, attracts Tibetan pilgrims from Dolpo, Mugu, Tibet, Ladhak, India, and Bhutan. The 100-meter-diameter stupa features all-seeing eyes of Adi Buddha and is believed to hold Kasyapa’s remains. Built on an octagonal base, it rises 36 meters and features a spire and pinnacle representing enlightenment stages. Numerous myths surround its origins.
- Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple): Swayambhunath, a Buddhist Chaitya dating over 2600 years, is a mosaic of small stupas and pagoda temples on a hillock. It features a solid hemisphere of brick and clay, a lofty conical spire, and the “All Seeing Eyes” of Lord Buddha.
- Kathmandu Durbar Square : Kathmandu Durbar Square, one of three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Nepal, houses the palaces of Malla and Shah kings, surrounded by quadrangles and temples. It’s named after a statue of Hanuman, a monkey devotee of Lord Ram.
- DAY 3 Sightseeing of Patan and Bhaktapur [Overnight Kathmandu]
- Patan, a major city in Nepal, is known for its rich cultural heritage, especially in arts and crafts. Located in the south-central part of Kathmandu Valley, it is known for its ancient art, metal and stone carving, and statues.
- Bhaktapur, a traffic-free Nepal town, is known for its cobblestone streets, temples, courtyards, and monumental squares. Its vibrant cultural life features centuries-old craftsmanship traditions and strong communities of potters, woodcarvers, and weavers. Bhaktapur’s blend of modern and medieval features is entrancing, thanks to the German-funded Bhaktapur Development Project.
- Competing with Dhulikhel and Kakani, Nagarkot is perhaps the best place to view the Himalaya from the comfort of your hotel balcony. Just 32km from Kathmandu, the village is packed with hotels, stacked up on a ridge facing one of the broadest possible views of the Himalaya. Between October and March a trip to Nagarkot will nearly always be rewarded with a view, but be warned the mountains are notorious for disappearing behind cloudy skies on any given day (or hour). It can get very cold at Nagarkot, so bring warm clothing.
- DAY 4 Drive to Nagarkot [Overnight Nagarkot]
- DAY 5 Sunrise View of Nagarkot and then drive to Dhulikhel – Village Tour Arround [Overnight Dhulikhel]
- Dhulikhel offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks, Devithan hillock, historic Newar settlement, and artistic temples, offering an unparalleled view of the Himalayan ranges.
- DAY 6 Visit Namo Buddha and Drive Back to Kathmandu [Overnight Kathmandu]
- Namo Buddha, a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal, is known for its story of the Buddha giving his body to a starving tigress and her cubs. The village features an old temple and a cave with statues of the prince, tigress, and cubs. Namo Buddha is also known as “Takmo Lu Jin” in Tibetan and Himalayan regions.
- Day 07 Drive to Pokhara [Overnight Pokhara]
- We continue our drive towards Pokhara, the most famous lake city in Nepal.
- DAY 08 Full day Sightseeing tour in Pokhara [Overnight Pokhara]
- We visit Fewa Lake, museums, and a Tibetan refugee settlement after breakfast. Overnight at a hotel with breakfast included. We continue sightseeing in Pokhara, visiting the famous Devis fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and Mahendra Gufa. Pokhara is a beautiful valley with panoramic views of Annapurna, Machhapuchare, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal, and Manaslu. It features a millpond lake, a village, and shops selling Buddhist mantras.
- DAY 09 Drive To Lumbini – Via Palpa Tansen [Overnight Lumbini]
- We now head towards the land where Lord Buddha was born.
- DAY 10 Sight seeing in Lumbini [Overnight Lumbini]
- The Asoka Pillar, built in 259BC by Buddhist King Ashok, is a revered site in Nepal. The pillar was struck by lightning and split into two parts, but was rediscovered in 1895. The pillar is now located in front of the Maya Devi temple, a revered site by Nepali Buddhists. The Marker Stone, discovered in 1969, is located in the sanctum sanatorium and is now covered with bulletproof glass. The Holy Pond, where Maya Devi took a bath before giving birth, is also a significant site. The Maya Devi Temple, dedicated to Maya Devi, is a popular attraction. The Crane Sanctuary is being built for the protection and breeding of endangered cranes. The sacred garden is a beautiful area for relaxation.
- DAY 11 Drive to Chitwan National Park. (4 – 5 hrs) [Overnight Chitwan]
- After Breakfast, we drive to Chitwan National Park for the jungle activities; the drive takes us through the Highways of Nepal, where we can enjoy the view of Hills, Forrest and the Trishuli River. On Arrival in the jungle resort we will have a briefing of Jungle activities followed by the Village Tour in the Evening. The dinner is included on this day at the hotel.
- DAY 12 Full day Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park. [Overnight Chitwan]
- After Breakfast, the jungle activities include Boating & a Jungle Walk. After Lunch we continue the Jungle Safari, it could be Either Jeep Safari or Elephant Ride as per your preference. In the evening we enjoy the Dinner and Tharu Cultural Show.
- DAY 13 Drive Back to Kathmandu
- After breakfast and a short walk for Bird watching, we drive back to Kathmandu. The drive back to Kathmandu from Chitwan is 181 KMs. The drive will take about 5 – 6 hrs.
- DAY 14 Departure from Kathmandu
- Transfer to international airport for your final departure. The trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.
